Here are some of the organizations that collaborate with and provide culturally enriching experiences for the students in Pittsburgh Public Schools. |
Heinz Hall has a long, rich, and interesting history. Owned and operated by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, the hall hosts hundreds of performances by the PSO, Broadway, and other guests each year. |
River City Brass Band, founded in 1981, is a wonderful combination of stunning virtuosity, masterful programming, and lighthearted fun! These 28 musicians, under the baton of Maestro Denis Colwell, produce the full richness of a symphony orchestra, the intimacy of a chamber ensemble, the toe-tapping brilliance of a military band and the swinging sound of a Big Band. |
